A little cardboard house with a light that runs on sunlight. This cute sustainable solar house is decorative, fun and educational, teaching children about sustainability.
A day’s charge in the sunlight will give you 5 hours of light. Charge your Casagami by placing it on the window during the day and light it up when it’s bedtime! There’s a on/off switch for better battery time management.
Each Casagami consists of an adhesive solar module and a sheet of pre-cut cardboard. The patented adhesive solar module is made of a mini solar panel, an orange LED, a switch and a Lithium-Ion battery.
Building this sustainable solar house only takes a couple of minutes and doesn’t require any glue.1
The dimensions of an assembled Casagami are 8 x 6,5 7,5 cm. Each house set is shipped in a A5 sized flat cardboard envelope weighting less than 50g for reduced carbon footprint.
Simply remove the house from the pre-cut sheet of cardboard, fold all tabs of the house, stick the adhesive solar module to the inside and fix the tabs to assemble the house.
After assembly, place your house on the windowsill to charge the battery: 5 hours of charging in sunlight= 5 hours of lighting. Automatic switch off system when exposed to sunlight.
Casagami is a great way to introduce children to sustainable development and alternative energies. Works great as a workshop activity and family activity. Easy to build and decorate, Casagami is designed for children and adults alike. The night lights also make a good gift for newborn’ parents.
Casagami exists in different designs and colours to fit all occasions. Besides this original model in raw cardboard colour, there are also houses in white, red & white polka dots, gingerbread and a castle. The white canvas of the white house and castle can be painted.
